Imidacloprid and thiamethoxam affect synaptic transmission in zebrafish
2021, Ecotoxicology and Environmental SafetyCitation Excerpt :Slc6a3 and slc6a4a encode the transporters of DA and 5-HT, respectively (Giros and Caron, 1993; Norton et al., 2008). Rate-limiting enzymes and transporters are essential for controlling the reuptake rate and maintaining stability of DA and 5-HT in fish (Giros and Caron, 1993). IMI and THM affected transcription of these genes in key rate-limiting enzymes and transporters.
