All parameters were either measured in this study (ONL thickness from OCT measurements in Fig. 1) or from previously published studies (Rho+/+, Lyubarsky et al., 2004; RhoP23H/+, Sakami et al., 2011, 2014; Chiang et al., 2015; Rho+/-, Lem et al., 1999; Calvert et al., 2001; Liang et al., 2004). We then used the values listed here and Equation 7 in Materials and Methods to estimate the end-on collecting areas (Ac) of Rho+/+ control, RhoP23H/+, and Rho+/- mice.
