Dr. Sandeep Kumar Vishwakarma, Ph.D (Genetics,) from Osmania University, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India specializes in Stem Cell biology and Molecular Genetics. He has got excellence in gene cloning, expression, protein purification, cell culture, Neo-organogenesis, Bioinformatics and a variety of basic and advanced tools and techniques applied in biological research. Dr. Aleem Ahmed Khan, a leading scientist in hepatic stem cell biology has done his doctorate from Osmania University, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India in the area of Cell Biology and Transplantation Immunology. He has pioneered the hepatic stem cell technology for the treatment of liver cirrhosis. Recently he investigated trans-differentiation of hepatic stem cells into insulin producing pancreatic β-cells without any genetic manipulation.
