Endothelial NOS (eNOS or NOS3) is constitutively expressed in endothelial cells in the membrane-bound state and requires Ca2+ for its activity [4–6]. nNOS is attached to N-methyl-d-aspartate receptor (NMDAR), post synaptic density protein-95 (PSD-95) and PSD-93 [7].
